Transferring overdue invoices to Debtist

In addition to mediaFinanz, you can now transfer overdue invoices directly from easybill to our debt collection partner Debtist. The mediaFinanz integration remains unchanged.

Setting up your Debtist account

You don't need to register separately with Debtist.

1. Click Finances > Payment management
2. Click Debtist (Encashment)
   
3. Click on Set up Debtist account
   
4. Check your company details – easybill has already filled them in
5. Choose a password for your Debtist account and complete the setup

Transferring an overdue invoice to Debtist

1. Click the ⋯ icon next to the overdue invoice
   
2. Click Encashment
   
3. Click Hand o claim to Debtist
   

The invoice is sent to Debtist automatically.

Alternatively, select the invoice in the document list and click Debt collection at the bottom. You can only transfer one invoice at a time to Debtist this way. Transferring several invoices at once is only possible with mediaFinanz.

Viewing the claim status and sending messages

Click the claim or its case number. A side panel opens with a full overview of the claim. There you can:

• see the current status of the claim – it is updated every night,
• send messages and files directly to Debtist.

If you record a payment for the transferred invoice in easybill, easybill reports it to Debtist automatically.

Good to know

• Automated dunning still only supports mediaFinanz.
• The permission in employee groups is now called Debt collection (previously "mediaFinanz") and applies to both providers.
