Amazon Business Purchase Order Number (PO-Number) on Shipping Labels
To quickly assign deliveries to their respective orders, the Purchase Order Number can be displayed on Amazon Business shipping labels. This makes it easier for the recipient of the package to assign the content, especially when many shipments are received. easybill Connect (formerly Import Manager) handles this completely automatically and without the need for prior settings in easybill Connect.
The PO-Number only needs to be activated on Amazon and provided during the ordering process. Your business customers can do this as follows:
- Click on Business Settings at the top right
- Select Business order information
- Activate PO-Number and select Required if you want to make entering a PO-Number mandatory during checkout.
- Click on Save at the bottom.
- Enter the PO-Number in the corresponding field on Amazon during the ordering process (see image).
Once your business customers have successfully completed these steps, the PO-Number will be displayed on the shipping labels created directly via the API in easybill Connect.
This feature currently works in easybill Connect with all shipping carriers supported by easybill Connect, provided that the creation of shipping labels in easybill Connect is possible directly via the API.
The PO-Number is currently stored in the Amazon API (Orders), Amazon CSV, and Amazon VCS - Custom document creation. In these cases, it is possible to display the PO-Number on the respective shipping labels.
